I finally completed GTD by David Allen but I have a feeling that I will be re-reading some of the chapters over and over (as many other gtd-ers did/still do). It's a good book really. Those of you wanting to get organized or be productive, grab a copy ;)
Going along with Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. There is one more of his books that I want to read but I can't find it.
Substituting Peter Pan with Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.
Getting back to reading GTD.
Completed A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I am actually looking forward to buying his other works. About to finish James Matthew Barrie's Peter Pan.
I realised that my "Must Read Pile" is bottomless. There will always be new books or books that I've just discovered and I want to read that will soon end up in the pile. I made a list just to clear out the haze.
My must read pile is mostly the books that I've bought, on the bookshelves, untouched or those fantasy fables I grew up watching or listening but have never read them. Maybe the future course texts and bestsellers too.
I may not ever complete this goal but adopting it was the key that was placed into the ignition of my reading engine.
Started on one of her Book Club books, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. It was at first to please mum but the first few pages have already gotten my attention. I also have James Matthew Barrie's Peter Pan by my bed. It is a lovely fable and I am terribly behind on my reading eversince I was a kid. I do need to remember on completing my GTD book too. Imagine the irony if I didn't.
GTD by Allen David.
Finished with Faustus by Marlowe earlier today.
Still pained by the consequences of reading my text at the last minute, I've decided to start early, meaning now; on Dr. Faustus by Marlowe. Now, hopefully I can actually start reading this on will.
I've finally finished reading Frankenstein. 3 hours seemed like forever. Skimmed through Translations by Friel today. Almost done with poetry. I read lots of notes today. Lots.
I've started reading Frankenstein today. Got 1/4 of it done. Wanted to finish the text by today but it's pass 4 and my eyes are hurting. Speed reading later in the day.
